National Family Business Day (#GBFamilyBizDay) was created by Family Business United to give recognition to family firms across the UK for the contribution they make in terms of jobs provided, income generated and wealth created, as well as the significant support they offer to the communities in which they operate. Taking place annually on the third Thursday in September, the event brings the community together with various events (online and in person) plus a significant voice on social media throughout the day.

Each year the family business voice is amplified by the involvement of family firms all over the UK, as well as by those who work to support family businesses too. In recent years the hashtag has trended on social media as more family firms join the campaign and we hope that this year will be the best yet.
